Turner Media Group also known as Turner Sports, with properties such as TNT and TBS are in advanced talks with AEW (All Elite Wrestling) for a weekly television program likely to appear on TNT. The deal which would shake the foundation of the sports entertainment landscape has yet to be signed, however TNT and TBS are both planning to present AEW Wrestling as part of their offerings at upfronts scheduled for May 15.
In the television industry, an upfront is a gathering at the start of important advertising sales periods, held by television network executives and attended by major advertisers and the media.

Talks between the two sides over a potential deal continue, but according to a source who spoke with The Wrap, the deal is “definitely not signed.”
All Elite Wrestling has yet to hold an official event, but is riding a wave of momentum from the ALL IN event co-promoted by Ring of Honor Wrestling and AEW Founders Cody Rhodes and Matt & Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks. ALL IN was the catalyst for an eventual meeting with AEW backer Shahid Khan who is responsible for helping launch the wrestling promotion which will have its debut event; Double or Nothing, in Las Vegas, on May 25.

AEW has built a strong roster which now includes WWE legend, Chris Jericho and formerly the hottest free agent in pro wrestling, Kenny Omega. The former voice of WWE for over 20 years, Jim Ross has also joined the team.
