The Pittsburgh Steelers have been consistent during the offseason in standing behind their long-time quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger. Today they made him one of the Top 3 highest paid QB’s in the NFL.
The two-time Super Bowl winner has agreed to stay with Pittsburgh through the 2021 season. It has been reported that Roethlisberger will take home a big pay bump over the $12 million he was due in 2019.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN noted that Big Ben will be paid more than $30 million per year in 2020-21.
Right after the ink dried, Roethlisberger stated: “It has always been a goal to play my entire career in Pittsburgh. This is home for me and my family, and we love this city. I am as excited to be a Steeler in Year 16 as I was when they drafted me. They will get my absolute best.”
